GET THE MOST OUT OF YOUR REED DIFFUSERS November 13, 2020 – Posted in: Uncategorized

There is a common misconception that reed diffusers do not last, but have you tried our Mwanga reed diffusers? I thought so too, so please try one and then come back and give your testimonies.

When it comes to scents, not only are our reed diffusers the best in the world (we kid you not) they are cost-efficient & require little attention for use. I get customers walk into the store and ask how to get premium experience off our diffusers.

Here are 4 easy ways to get the most value out of your Mwanga reed diffusers.

  • Flip your reed sticks: By flipping your reeds, the oil will lift up, adding a fresher and fuller whiff to your space for a longer period of time. This should be done at least twice every week. For a stronger fragrance we advise that you use 7-8 reed sticks, the more reeds you use, the more channels the fragrance can be dispersed through.
  • Keep away from sunlight: Reed diffusers contain essential oils that are in liquid form and can evaporate. Exposure to direct sunlight and contact with an AC or fan will not only dry up your diffuser but also scent up only a section of your space. To prevent this, keep in an area that has little sun exposure, AC or fan, and use in an airtight space. Somewhere they can utilize the natural airflow in your home, like a bedside table, the center table, or shelves.
  • Do not re-use reeds: When you change your diffusers or refill on your scents, it is best to use new reeds as reeds get clogged over time and can lose its efficiency. Reed sticks have a duration, best to stick to it. If you’ve come to the end of your reed diffusers and you just can’t handle a second without that luscious scent, we have 200ml refills available at only N13,975 and comes with new reed sticks. It’s important, however, to clean out your old diffuser jars before refilling.
  • Pick the right size for the right space: There are different sizes of diffusers made for different spaces. Just like candles, size of space should be put into consideration when getting a diffuser. The larger the space, the bigger the size of diffuser required. Our diffusers come in 50ml, 100ml and 200ml
